Our barn style house is set on 6 acres on the outskirts of Havelock North along picturesque Tuki Tuki Rd just 15 minutes from Napier or Hastings. Located near award wining wineries , Cape Kidnappers and walking and cycling tracks.
The space
What our guests love the most is the tranquility of the country and the fabulous outdoor fire. If you love to cook while on holiday we offer a well stocked kitchen with all of the essentials, plus oils, seasonings, spices and sauces.
This listing is for the house with 2 upstairs bedrooms. The house is also available with option of 3rd master bedroom and ensuite (see our other listing)
Please note we can move a sofa bed into one of the bedrooms for a 5th person or if you have two guests wanting separate beds. Please ensure you select 5 guests and let us know which bedroom you would like the sofa bed set up in.
Downstairs is an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge flowing out onto a large verandah where you can relax while shaded from the Hawkes Bay sun, or cosy up beside the outside fireplace during the cooler days. There's even a large 65 inch outside TV!
Upstairs are two bedrooms permanently set up for guests.
Ideal for two couples or a family (please note stairs not suitable for young children)
Bedroom 1
A super large 24 sqm with a double bed, cotton linen, feather pillows, down duvet. Includes TV, double wardrobes, and extra space for work for relaxing.
Bedroom 2
A spacious 18sqm room with Double Bed. Crisp cotton linen, down duvets and feather pillows. Large wardrobe, chairs and coffee table, book case, drawers and large mirror. There is a single mattress stored under the double bed if needed.
There is a basic Bathroom/Laundry on the ground floor with a shower, toilet, tub and washing machine. Please note there is a tub only and no vanity (see photos)
Our barn is our home which we often have available while we are travelling in our motorhome. We strive for a high level of cleanliness but do expect to find some loving wear that comes with being a "home". It has brand new carpet throughout and newly polished concrete in the living areas with a planned interior paint job coming soon.

We supply all bed linen, towels and kitchen linen. There is a fully equipped Kitchen, please help yourself to any coffee, tea, spices, sauces, milk and butter in the pantry and fridge.
Pets are possible - please check with us first and be aware of animals on the property. We can even accommodate a horse or two!

You will have the place to yourselves, owners will not be present.
Other things to note
Our 3 friendly cows will usually come down for a drink just opposite the verandah each morning and afternoon. There's some sheep over the fence, 2-3 horses and a couple of chooks who will either be in the coop or free range.
If you are bringing a dog there is only a stock fence around the barn and your dog will need to be under control around livestock. For stays with dogs we will ensure our chickens are safe in their coop during your stay. .
