With a wrap around verandah and ranch sliders from downstairs living areas and bedroom you can access the north facing, beautiful and well established gardens and lawns. Enjoy the amazing sunsets and night sky gazing. Nearby Woodend beach is great for swimming in summer and the woodland beach reserve trail can be walked or biked from Woodend all the way through Pegasus to Waikuku. The home's quiet rural setting with established trees and gardens, contains an abundance of mature plant species including Rhododendrons, Camelias, Pin oaks, Maples, Dogwoods, flowering Cherries, Roses and Hydrangeas which provide a haven for native birds. Listen for the tui , fantail , quail and pheasant's call. With a rural outlook on all sides , but 5 minutes from the main highway and just 5 - 10 minutes from Kaiapoi, Woodend and Rangiora townships.
