Seahurst is located in the scenic Bayview/ Eskdale area, 10 minutes drive north of Napier City and close to the seaside suburbs of Westshore and Ahuriri for sightseeing, dining, restaurants, bars and pubs. Access to the HB cycle trails is close by.
Napier offers so much to do and Seahurst offers the perfect down time when you need to relax..peaceful setting, gardens, native birds, a large heated swimming pool and spa pool, to chill when you need to rest. No need to cook, unless its a BBQ, because there is only a small kitchenette with a microwave and toaster etc...so plan to bring back takeaways, nibbles or cheeses and/or swap roles, so that the BBQ guru does the meals! There are so many good places to eat and we can recommend where. Because we live semi-attached to the apartment, we are happy to help with info and ideas or leave you alone... The apartment has its own entrance, lockable and is upstairs, so is quite private.
We live downstairs {Split level} and so if you prefer not to see owners, it may not be the place for you and we have a small friendly pup called Pippi who loves kids.
Close to fruit farms, walks, beaches and bush.
Cyclists can journey from Seahurst over the hills to join the HB trials at Puketapu or down to the coastal links. Summer is great in the Bay!
Our little farm has a flock of black sheep who think they're dogs, and a lot of native birds including heron, tui, bellbirds, fantail, morepork and others.
We leave you alone or help as needed....we have owned or leased hotels, resorts and restaurants, so we try not to be in your face!
Sorry, but because of the stairs only, access, it may not be suitable or safe for babies/toddlers or those with limited mobility.
We welcome children though.
