This sunny, warm holiday home is the perfect fit for families and groups wanting to be located at the Southern end of Lake Taupo with all its attractions. Enjoy fishing, rafting, the trout hatchery, and only drive 40 minutes to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, and 45 minutes to nearby Ruapehu ski fields. Boasting a modern kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms including a bunk room, means 2 families (up to 12 people) can easily fit into this simple, yet comfortable property.
Enjoy all the the normal amenities of home including a full kitchen, 2 modern bathrooms, and laundry.
This light and funky home has a bunk room, bathroom and living & kitchen areas on the ground floor.
Open the large doors in summer, and from here step out onto a large deck with mountain views and north facing for all day sun. There is plenty of room outside, with a large flat lawn, ideal for family games and summer entertaining.
Or through winter, cosy up at night next to the indoor wood fire.
Upstairs, you will find 2 x double and 2 x single (very small rooms), along with a second bathroom.
This property is ‘bring your own, if this doesn’t suit, linen can be hired for a small fee of $10pp.
Please note guests make their own beds on arrival.
All beds are provided with pillows and duvet with covers. You will need to provide your own sheets and pillowslips.
There is a large flat area for parking a boat.
PLEASE NOTE - This home is a bach. The painting isn’t perfect, and there is the odd bug! If you don’t like that it’s not hotel quality, don’t book it. And don’t complain about simple things as this is a clean, comfortable option and 99% of our guests love it!
It is not a huge home, but it is well set out.
It is not recommended for 12 adults - as 6 of the beds are bunks. For a short stay it is ok though and great for an overnight after Tongariro. Works perfectly for 2 families :)
