The house is situated in Lake Hawea, which is just a 30-minute drive to the base of Cardrona and Treble Cone ski fields, and a 2-minute drive, or 10-minute walk, to the lake and river.
It's ideal for tramping, fishing, sailing, cycling, snow sports, wakeboarding, or just sitting back in comfort.
You'll find all the modern conveniences in a spacious sunny 2-bedroom standalone house set on 1/2 an acre of established gardens.
The log burner provides heating as well as hot water and can serve as a stove if desired.
It's best suited to a couple, or a family of up to four, and perfect for grandparents who want to visit family (hit me up for longer-term rates).
We aim to be environmentally friendly and try not to use harsh chemicals around the house.
Please be aware, it's a family home, not a party house. Non-smoking etc, and quiet hours between 10pm and 7am.
Sorry, no pets as the owners are allergic.
Check in at 3pm, and check out at 10am. These times may be negotiable with adequate notice.
Please note that the house won't be serviced during your time there, and that there is no cleaning fee. Everything needed to maintain it should be there for you, and we just ask that you look after it as you would your own home. All linen's included.
