Famed for its fishing, snorkeling and diving, Little Bay is the perfect white sandy beach framed by Pohutakwa and crystal clear blue water. The beach is family friendly with a small estuary and wide open beach, often dotted with tractors and fisherman returning from sea.

The bay is easterly facing and well sheltered, perfect for stand up paddling, swimming or kayaking. Walk to the beach takes 3 minutes.

The house is well equipped with all necessities for a relaxing stay.

We have a pet pig Kupe, who is our sustainable compost man, and Kiki our boxer dog loves to visit for hugs.

A short walk (10minutes) from the house brings you to Waikawau bay - the last protected beach in the Coromandel - 3 km long surf break home to the famous sand castle competition and Waikawau camp ground.

There are various short walks (15 mins up to 3 hours) from the back door in native bush and regenerating Kauri forest. (please clean your boots and protect our kauri).
The area is surrounded by native Kiwi, Kaka, Morepork, Tui and Kereru - some will visit you on the balcony, some you can hear on dusk.

Little bay is 20 minutes north east of Colville (nearest local store for supplies) or 40 minutes North East from Coromandel town.

It absolutely stunning and the place to come if you want a quite walk in nature experience, or you just want to lay on the couch and read a book.

Close to the Northern Coromandel walking and mountain biking tracks allows an 80km loop ride accross one of the most stunning parts of the north island - a days ride, but worth it!.

Well behaved pets on application (no barking) , no roaming allowed. They must remain OUTSIDE the house. A kennel is available if required. Please request pet stays before booking.
Vaccine Passes for all occupants over 18 are mandatory.

During the summer months please be wary of water usage - we are on tank water and water is precious.
