This home is a sanctuary from everyday life, charming and stylish. Oversized windowseats frame the ground floor area and there are sunny spots for everyone to curl up with a book and relax. A luxury kitchen and seamless indoor/outdoor flow makes this home perfect for stylish entertaining - whether outdoors on the deck, seated at the huge island bench or outside by the elegant poolside firetable and BBQ area.
Downstairs is a queen bedroom with its own shower room, upstairs is the master suite, with shower, opening onto a stunning deck + views across headlands/ocean. A second upstairs bedroom has 3 bunk beds; and a studio connected to the house has a queen bed and a single bed. The main house upstairs area is ringed by a vast deck. Between the upstairs bedrooms is a sunny living area and kids playzone with books and games which opens onto the deck. In the adjacent spacious studio, linked by a bridge walkway, is also a second hangout area with comfy beanbags, so plenty of room for everyone to find their happy place. This home works beautifully in all seasons - for winter, there's a cosy gas fire, Bose iPod dock, a library of great books to read and board games. Outside, grounds stretch out towards the emerald waters of western Waiheke . There's plenty of room to play or throw down a rug and have your own private hilltop picnic .There's also plenty of parking space for up to 3 cars. This is a premium property for quiet relaxation, not a 'party house'. Please chose another house if you want to gather together more than the strict 10 person capacity of the house. A 10pm outdoor noise deadline to be respected out of consideration for neighbours. Families preferred. As this is a luxury home there is a $1,000 bond against damages/extra cleaning, returnable after housekeeping/pool valet inspection. Linen, bath towels/teatowels and beach towels supplied. Pool not heated, but thermal cover effective in warm weather. $275 cleaning fee covers standard cleaning/linens- higher if over public holidays or with more than 4 people staying. Please note check in/out times. And please note differing cancellation policies for low season and high season (Dec-March) - relaxed for lower season and firm for high season.
