This modern looking bach is only 90 minutes north of Auckland and is an ideal place to enjoy the tranquility of the Kaipara region. Situated just ten minutes from Kaiwaka with its cafes and specialty shops, you can truly get back to nature while enjoying most of the comforts of home. We are perched on top of a hill and the resulting 280 degree views are amazing. Enjoy spectacular sunsets with uninterrupted rural views and views of the sea.

The main living space is an open plan arrangement with lounge, dining and kitchen all in one. This room opens onto a large deck where there is a BBQ area as well as outside dining and seating options. There is a sound system that just needs a stick or player to make it work. Freeview tv is available as well. The sofa folds down to make an extra bed. Off this room is one bathroom with toilet, basin and shower. The kitchen has hotplates, a microwave and a small oven. The hooded BBQ can be used as a larger oven too. There is a fridge/freezer and cupboards filled with all the utensils, crockery and cutlery you will need for your stay.

The middle space is dual purpose – up one end there is a single bed, storage shelves and a double pull out sofa. The other end is utility/storage space - see the photos for layout. It can be a bit cooler in here in the winter (heating available) but is beautiful in summer for indoor/outdoor flow.

At the end of the building is a large bedroom that contains a very comfortable queen bed and desk area. It has an ensuite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet.

There is plenty of room for a trailer and a public boat ramp is only a five-minute drive away. You have a choice of three popular beaches only a short, thirty-minute drive away (Mangawhai Heads, Waipu Cove or Ruakaka). If that sounds like too much activity just take the drink to the outside patio and enjoy the view.
