Unwind amongst the rolling hills surrounding Mangawhai in this bright and spacious eco-friendly tiny home. You'll be spoilt for choice with beautiful white sand beaches and spectacular walks lining the entire coast, with restaurants and bustling markets only an 8 minute drive away. Once your day of adventuring is through, enjoy tucking into your goodies under a vibrant sunset on the deck.
The house is equipped with a full sized kitchen and appliances as well as a variety of pantry essentials which makes cooking a breeze. Quality filter coffee is also provided.
The deck overlooks a rolling valley and wetland which surrounds our property. You will be blown away with full views of the Milky Way on a clear evening!
A spacious king sized bed is upstairs in the loft and the couch transforms into a comfortable double sized bed perfect for children or an extra guest.
The bathroom features a full height rainfall shower, heated towel rail, and an odor-free composting toilet which is pleasant and easy to use.
Myself and my partner Mat lovingly built this tiny home, and it was originally an off grid home. It has been designed to be energy efficient, with double glazed windows and modern insulation making for a cozy and quiet space, as well efficient lighting and appliances.
Guest access
Located on the main road between Mangawhai and Kaiwaka this property is simple to find and has easy flat access with ample parking. You can even bring the boat!
While our home is nearby and the driveway is shared you will have plenty of privacy and self check in. We would like to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, should you need anything we are nearby to help.
Other things to note:
You may spot our two cats Bozzie and Chilli around the property. They can be shy, but do enjoy visiting the tiny house.
The tiny house does not have laundry facilities however there is a laundromat located close by in Mangawhai Villiage.
We welcome children however please be aware of falling risks with the loft bedroom. We recommend children sleep on the ground floor and are closely supervised if in the loft.
This 1 Bedroom Cabin provides accommodation with Kitchen, View, Ocean View, for your convenience. This Cabin features many amenities for guests who want to stay for a few days, a weekend or probably a longer vacation with family, friends or group.
