Our cosy, charming, fully equipped Chalet is very homely, with an old fashioned bath. An ideal vacation rental for the romantic. Secluded amongst limestone outcrops at the top of our organic garden. Sit on the veranda overlooking hills with dramatic rock formations and the West Coast sea rolling in. Warm, frost-free micro climate. A unique stretch of unspoilt coastline which is magical to explore and fish, with hardly a soul in sight. Ten minutes walk to the sea and private vehicle access (10 mins) to a magnificent white sand beach, protected by reefs forming a lagoon at low tide safe for children to swim. Extensive elevated walks reward walkers with magnificent views over the Tasman Sea, Westhaven Inlet, regenerating podocarp forest on our farm and the Kahurangi National Park. Explorers, photographers, botanists, geologists, surfers, swimmers, cavers and wild landscape lovers have all visited and love Te Hapu as we do. Te Hapu is available year round for holiday lettings.
The Sleepout is situated thirty metres away with one bunk and space for a double mattress. It is suitable accommodation for older children. It also has a superb view.
The Chalet and Sleepout together can sleep a maximum of 4.
The tariff includes: duvets and blankets, pillow cases, dish cloths and tea towels, hand towels, bath mat.
Special conditions: Smoking allowed outside only. Pets are not allowed at the Chalet.
***From the 23rd of December until the 11th of January we have a 5 night minimum requirement. And from the 12th of January to the 31st of January we have a 3 night minimum requirement.***
