This beautiful, 3 storied, architecturally designed new eco-holiday home is nestled privately in established native trees, and sea-views, bordering a reserve with a short, two-minute walk down to one of New Plymouth's most famous surf beaches at East End. Taranaki's Scenic Coastal Walk and Cycle Way connects you to the Te Henui walkway, Fitzroy beach and onto the Waiwhakaiho river mouth with its famous bridge. It is a short cycle in the opposite direction to New Plymouth CBD with its art galleries, eateries and bars.
The property is designed for Al fresco living with large sliding doors opening from the open plan living space to extensive decking that faces north towards the sea. An outdoor shower enables a wash-off after a swim or surf at the beach and a fabulous rooftop deck is the perfect spot for a private sun-soak with views of Mount Taranaki, the regions outstanding coastline and star gazing at night.
The ground floor open plan interior features a brand new modern kitchen, dining area and a comfortable TV lounge. The furnishings centre around a retro minimalistic style with subtle Maori carvings etched into the red beech decor screens. This level also houses the master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, ensuite, and its own deck.
The second floor has a further three bedrooms, 2 queen beds and a bunk room with a second bathroom and laundry facility. All rooms are north-facing to maximise sun, surf, light and views.
