A pet is welcome by negotiation and you must advise us that you are bringing a pet and there is an additional $30 per night pet fee. Please note the property is not fenced and therefore your dog needs to be watched at all times as there are sheep and chickens roaming on the land surrounding the cabin. Your dog is also not allowed to be left unattended inside the property unless secured in a crate. Please keep dogs off the beds and furniture and ensure you clean up after them when you leave. Mount Victoria, for those with the energy to make the walk to the summit, offers fantastic views across the city, and the Cook Strait, if it is a clear day, you can glimpse the South Island. Your pets are more than welcome here too, but we do ask a few things please:
1. Please ensure you are always watching and in control of your animals. The property is not fenced and the road at the bottom of the drive is very busy. There are also other animals on the property including sheep, chickens, dogs, and a lot of bird life which we don’t want disturbed by an animal running through.
2. We ask that the animals are not on the furniture or beds.
3. Please pick up any animal poo and dispose of appropriately in the outside bin provided.
Please note that a $200 refundable security damage deposit is taken on your credit card - this is refunded on check out.
