'The Cottage' is the perfect base for a weekend getaway on Waiheke. Located close to Oneroa Village and Palm Beach, The Cottage is walking distance from Sandy Beach, Enclosure Beach, Hekerua Beach and Little Oneroa beach.

The Cottage is a well set up self contained cottage. The large living area downstairs includes a Smart TV, comfortable seating,a dining table & chairs, a couch which can convert to a bed, and basic kitchen facilities - toaster, microwave and a kettle. Outside is a covered BBQ area with a large BBQ which includes a gas hob and a sink.

Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom has a queen size bed and the small second bedroom (accessed from the master bedroom) has a single bed with a trundle. The bathroom is also off the master bedroom.

Summary: Nice facility in good location but inaccuracies in the description left us feeling a little disappointed and challenged to cook for two nights when it was raining. The BBQ area is not covered and there was nothing to use to cook anything in the microwave. No dessert bowls for cereals, no sharp knives and no oil for cooking as stated would be available.
