In summer months make use of the wood-fired BBQ and chill out on the verandah and large lawn (which doubles as an excellent backyard cricket pitch)! There are bike hooks at the back of the house to hang mountain bikes up on after a day on the tracks.
The Hut Retreat knows that the Ohakune magic happens in winter, and is here to look after all the keen snow bunnies. Wake up to winter wonderland views of the mountain from the master bedroom, tempting you out for a day on the slopes. Then come home relax those muscles and enjoy a hot Spa, the perfect way to end a fun filled day hitting the snow.
Return home knackered to relax with your group in the large open plan living area, with gas fire, Chromecast TV and selection of board games. The Hut Retreat has a drying room for your gear and ski/snowboard racks in the garage. Also in the insulated garage is a table tennis table and dart board for impromptu tournaments!
