Summary: The Huts are a special place to stay and the pricing reflects that. I was concerned about being in a holiday park but no need. The huts themselves are very soundproof and I quite enjoyed watching the goings on at the campervan site.
The rooms were compact as expected but very functional and still felt new. The view is unparalleled. Bathroom was an excellent size and great fluffy towels. Toiletries were good quality but did feel like they had been watered down somewhat.
Also, for the price paid I would expect the room to be serviced better daily. We got new towels but left in the bedroom and not put in the bathroom. They took the dishcloth and tea towel and didn’t replace ( we had to phone to get this so we could clean dishes). Would be nice if the bed was remade. Also odd that crockery and cutlery is limited to three items. Constant washing up required.
We didn’t use the bathtub on the deck but did love sitting out there for the view. Note that you do get quite a bit of noise from the water park. Also early in the morning the staff at the water park play loud music when setting up.
This is an excellent and relaxing place to stay.

Summary: Simply Amazing! Lake Tekapo from the most stunning stay location. Great experience living in such a cool hut by the lake- stunning, very nicely designed- very convenient- every part of the hut is aesthetically designed and meticulously built. Kitchen is small but fully functional. The nights give dark sky experience directly at the hut. Loved our decision to skip better known brands and go for this experience. Loved the rabbits

Summary: The check in process was seamless . The location of Hut 3 is perfect with picture post card views of Lake Tepako and the Lupin flowers. Watching the clouds roll in over the lake , see the sunrise over the lake and the changes in the color of the lake with sunset all from your patio ! What more could one ask for 🤗🙏

Summary: The reception is way before the unit. It was easy to miss that so we spent some time looking for it. And we aren't the only ones. The place itself is nice and clean. Only gripe is that the parking is below the hill and we had to lug the luggages uphill tho it's a short distance.
