Just a short stroll down the beach, you can take a side street to cross over to the other side of the headland, where an estuary awaits. At low tide, enjoy the thrill of hunting for crabs, digging for cockles, gathering mussels, or bringing your fishing rod to try your luck from the jetty—then return home to prepare your own seafood feast and pick fresh organic greens from the vegetable and herb garden.
Local Walks are plentiful and from the house you can explore the entire beach and straight onto the Huriawa headland for dramatic clifftop walking and splendid views.
