The Nest is a one bedroom (Queen bed) plus a sofa bed (3 seater) & portacot. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is an open plan lounge dining area with French doors that open onto a patio overlooking the bay. The property is separated from the beach by a narrow one way road (speed limit 20km/hr). Heat pump/AC unit installed in the Nest.
The location and views are fantastic, uninterrupted views across to Paihia and Waitangi, relax on the patio and watch the sunsets. Short walk along the waterfront to the town centre with all the shops & cafes. Flat garden at rear of property as well. Shared kayaks & paddleboard between Nest & Boathouse.

Summary: We only had a couple of nights but The Nest couldn’t be a more perfect place to stay. Beautiful views and very quiet but just a few minutes walk into Russell and easy to access all that the Bay of Islands offers. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back.
