The Onetangi Valley’s vineyards including Tantalus Estate, Stonyridge, Te Motu, Casita Miro, Obsidian, and Wild on Waiheke are only minutes away. The Heke, another local favourite, offers wood-fired food, craft beer, and a relaxed garden setting.
Getting Around:
The nearest bus stop is a short walk from the apartment, with regular services running between Onetangi and Oneroa. These buses stop outside major vineyards including Stonyridge, Tantalus, Te Motu, and Wild on Waiheke.
Taxis on Waiheke are very expensive, and private drivers can be costly as well, especially during peak season. E-bikes and hire cars are often the most practical options for moving around the island. For destinations further east such as Passage Rock or Man O’ War, a car or pre-booked wine tour is recommended.
