The ultimate bush and beach escape - modern spacious open plan 1 bedroom studio overlooking Nine Mile Beach, Charleston, surrounded by native bush offering plenty of privacy. If you are looking for somewhere really special to celebrate a particular occasion, The Waves Studio has it all; the comforts of home and more... dishwasher, full laundry, fridge/freezer, wood burner, heatpump, BBQ, broadband access, flat screen TV, DVD, sound system and endless gas hot water for the very large 2 person spa bath. The bathroom has under tile heating (great in the winter!), a heated towel ladder, hairdryer, tiled shower and vanity as well as the large spa bath. (Please note the second bedroom/bathroom is not accessible). Complimentary toiletries also supplied and bottle of NZ wine. We provide 100% cotton linen for a good night's sleep. There is a small wood burner to keep you cosy in the winter months, with kindling and wood all ready for you and a heatpump as well. A free WiFi connection is available with password security.
The large double-glazed sliders from the bedroom and the living area open onto to a large timber north facing deck, affording panoramic views up the beach to Cape Foulwind. Westport and Punakaiki are a 25 minute drive away, while a safe swimming beach is about 10 minute walk away at the Nile River lagoon. We are close to the Paparoa National Park. The house is fully serviced between guests and we send detailed information, instruction and key location when accommodation had been booked and fully paid. Please note: Minimum stay 3 nights April-October, or 2 nights November-March (please contact us for price for 2 night stay in off season). Contact us for rates for longer stays up to 10 days.
