Fully relax and have a fabulous holiday at Tui's Retreat, a comfortable bach with modern conveniences which is only a few minutes short stroll to the north end of Waihi Beach. Fully fenced, pet friendly, and a short hop to the beach or up the beautiful Trig Bush Walk in the opposite direction. Beautiful Waihi Beach, with 9 km's of pristine sand and surf is at the end of the street, plus dairy for ice creams, cafe for coffee and fish n chip shop close by.

Tui's Retreat has:

Only 3 minutes walk (350m) from beautiful Waihi Beach and super close to the Waihi Beach Surf Club for flagged and patrolled swimming areas. Big deck with bbq and large table (seats 10) to sit and watch the tuis dive from the huge Pohutukawa trees at the front of the bach. Comfy outdoor sofa and chairs for reading on under the large cantilever umbrella. Outdoor foot & dog shower for washing off after beach time.

Also handy to the Main Street with cafes and shops, and a 4 Square supermarket. There is a spectacular walk to Orokawa Bay on a DOC track which goes from the absolute north end of Waihi Beach (5 mins walk from the Bach) and gives you stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and thru the coastal forest ending up in beautiful Orokawa Bay. It is about 45 mins walk (mid to steep in parts) one way.

Tui's Retreat easily accommodates 2 families if the kids are happy to all sleep in the bunk room. With 3 spacious bedrooms, two of which are double bedrooms with Queen Beds, plus one extra large bedroom with 2 sets of King Single bunks (sleeping 4 in that room), there is plenty of room. A seperate toilet makes life a bit easier, and the bathroom has a shower over bath.

Kitchen is equiped with microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and gas-top electric oven with range hood. Fully air-conditioned and heated for comfort in both summer and winter.

Special conditions:

• No parties and no additional guests staying beyond those booked
• No smoking inside or within the property grounds
• No open fires
• Pet friendly, but please do advise in booking request. Pet owners, can you please pick up any dog mess off the lawn or we will have to charge an additional cleaning fee ~ thank you!
• Please leave behind all our books and kids toys, as these belong to our two kids who generously are fine with sharing them with other children who stay. There would be tears if anything was taken so please respect their kindness and leave all toys and books at the bach when leaving.

There is a large Smart TV on the wall in the living area, & there are plenty of books and boardgames which you are welcome to use.

Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$60.00 per stay); NOTE: Under Kiwi Bach tradition you are expected to bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels). You will need to bring the following linen:

2 x Queen Bed: Queen sheets and Queen duvet covers + pillowcases (duvet inners and extra blankets are provided)

4 x King Single Bunks: King Single (or Double) sheets, king single duvet covers + pillowcases (duvet inners and extra blankets are provided).
