Summary: It was just like in the photos - recently-renovated and very clean. The location was very convenient with the city centre a five-minute drive away (or a 20 minute walk). It was also close to two major supermarkets, Rotorua Central Mall and a lot of eateries. If you're planning on making your own food, there is a microwave available, a decent-sized fridge and crockery/cutlery for two people. I had a nice time here. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to any of my concerns. Very recommended.
