Weka is the third cabin of three, measuring 25 m² with a large 20m² deck. It has an outside bath, with views over bush and farmland. The bath is heated by gas, automatically to 40 C°. The interior is quirky with a lovely bathroom and small kitchenette, with fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster. There is an electric bbq on the deck and an efficient patio heater for your comfort.
Guests will have exclusive use of the deck in front of their cabin and the spa bath.
Guests will also have use of the common room, featuring couches, a wood fire and a large bbq.
There is also a guest laundry shared with any other guests that may be staying in other cabins.
Guests are welcome to roam the farm as long as gates are left in the same set up as found.

Wainui is a rural settlement located between Whakatane/Ohope and Opotiki in the beautiful Eastern Bay of Plenty. The area is made up of farms and lifestyle blocks with some fantastic views out to the coast.
A vehicle is required to get around and there are also some great cycling roads and tracks nearby.
All cabins are powered by solar, but there is grid backup if required.
Water is precious as all cabins are reliant on tank water. Water is heated by gas.

There are numerous bird species who are attracted to the trees and shrubs surrounding the cabins. Please be mindful of their presence and they will delight you with their antics, especially the kereru and tui.
