Located in Port Charles, Northern Coromandel - a peaceful hide-away 2 bedroom bach (holiday home) private bush setting with large private deck, fabulous views over the bay and wharf.

Secluded and sheltered, the bach offers peace, quiet, with all the privacy you could wish for. Morning birdsong sets the scene for a perfect romantic get-away for two.

Self-catering with a well equipped kitchen. Spacious living area opening out onto sheltered deck area. The toilet is separate from the bach, via a pathway.

Your well placed to explore this special area: Fabulous walking/hiking tracks and off-road cycling in kiwi-zone and plenty of native bird-life.
Short walk to gorgeous sandy beaches ( Big Sandy Bay just over the hill and further north to the very special Stony Bay) where you’ll find safe swimming, kayaking, sailing, fishing and snorkelling.
Nearby cafe and restaurant open during summer months, an easy walk or short drive. Massages available by appointment @ the Kiwi Retreat.
Special conditions:
7 Night minimum stay mid December and January.
Two night minimum stay.
No pets, smoking outside only.

Summary: Awesome views and cosy kiwi Bach. Bird life amazing in the surrounding bush. Gorgeous beaches to explore close by. Was a little surprised initially by the outdoor toilet, but very clean & a unique bush view. Comfortable beds & well kitted out kitchen. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay a couple of days short as the cyclone was due to come through and we didn’t want to be cut off. But great memories of our stay & seeing new parts of our beautiful country.
