The Beach Villas are within a short walk of all facilities at Riversdale Beach. Take a stroll along the four kilometre sandy beach, swim, surf, fish or just chill out, it's up to you!! There is a nine hole golf course just down the road, or hire the tennis courts for a game. Meals are available on Friday nights at the club and everyone is welcome. The local store sells all the essentials, as well as fishing gear, takeaways and great coffee.
Riversdale Beach is a great place to base yourself, while you take short day trips to enjoy some of the other attractions available within the area, such as; Castlepoint, the local vineyards, shopping, a visit to Pukaha Mount Bruce Bird Reserve etc.

Summary: We were actually relying on internet availablility, , but in the end managed without, as the power went down during the storm, anyway. I don't think it was mentioned beforehand that there was no internet.
