The Space:
A tastefully decorated and spacious living area boasts polished concrete floors, a large Danish wooden dining table, inbuilt bar area, a smart Apple TV and Bose speaker. The large kitchen includes gas top cooking, oven and dishwasher. Outdoors, enjoy contemporary furniture on a lovely outdoor deck to soak up the sun, including a weber BBQ.
The two large bedrooms offer ample wardrobe storage; one room with a super king bed and one with a queen sized bed. Enjoy the many books from the library or make yourself a relaxing bath in the large bathroom.
Please help yourself to any of the cooking supplies provided in the pantry.
You may park two cars up the driveway for your convenience.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire main house. Please note the studio is run as a separate AirBNB so you may see other guests coming and going. Please be respectful with noise for the other guests, especially when on the deck.
The Neighborhood:
The Viaduct - the best bars and restaurants in the city! The New Zealand Maritime Museum is here, as well as Silo Park where you can watch outdoor films for free in the evening. You can also catch ferries from here to the amazing islands in the Hauraki Gulf like Waiheke, Tiritiri Matangi, and Rangitoto, as well as go on a whale and dolphin safari.
Federal Street - next to the Sky Tower (you can't miss it!) There are a lot of really nice bars and restaurants and cafes in this street, as well as the Sky City Casino and of course the Sky Tower. Dine at the top of tower at restaurant with the best views in Auckland, and jump off the Sky Walk to get down
Aotea Square - Auckland's cultural centre. Surrounding the square you'll find the Town Hall, Aotea Centre, Event cinemas, and two theatres (The Civic and the Q). The square itself is a nice place to people watch and sip some coffee. An ice-rink is the main attraction here during winter.
Albert Park, Art Gallery and the Museum - Albert Park is a lovely place where you can chill and read, and the Auckland art gallery is next door on Wellesley Street. If you keep walking up Wellesley Street, past Auckland University, and across Grafton Road, you will eventually find Auckland Domain which is the biggest park in Auckland and has the Auckland War Memorial Museum, as well as an amazing botanical garden.
Karangahape Road (a.k.a 'K' Road) - If you head up the hill on Queen Street, you'll eventually reach K Road, where you'll find Auckland's alternative night scene. Many great bars, live music, shisha cafes, and cheap takeaways are what K Road is known for.
Ponsonby – If you head West of the CBD, you will find the Ponsonby area. There is old colonial-style architecture there, many great stores for shopping, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Some of the best restaurants in Auckland are here, especially great for fine dining as this is an up-market area of Auckland.
Getting Around:
Best way to get around is driving or catching an Uber. There is 2 carparking spaces available in the driveway. Street parking also free with no time limit.

The outdoor studio at the back of the property is run as a separate AirBNB so you may see other guests coming and going. Please be respectful with noise for the other guests, especially when on the deck.

Monthly Stays: We have a 10% discount factored into the price if you book for 28 nights or more.
Keys/access: The keys are in a lockbox at the property. You will be able to access these and check-in from 3pm onwards. We will send you the full check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival date.
Pre Check-in building requirements: Before check-in, we will require a separate form to be completed with the ID provided for the main guest. This is a building requirement for short-term rentals for security and insurance purposes. Please inquire before booking if you have any questions.
Parking: There is a free secure carpark in the building allocated to this property.
Personal Check-ins: We can arrange for someone to meet you at the property for a $65 fee. Please inquire before booking to check availability - we will need at least two days notice to guarantee someone can meet you.
Check-in Time: Check-in time is after 3pm. If you need to check-in earlier, then please double-check with us first so we can confirm availability.
Luggage Storage: We cannot offer luggage storage inside the property but we can recommend The Luggage Hotel on Princes Wharf.
Amenities: We provide a starter pack of amenities to last you the first few days of your stay: 450ml shampoo and conditioner, 450ml bodywash, 4x tea/coffee, 3x toilet paper rolls, 1 pack of laundry powder, 1 pack of dishwashing powder, dishwashing liquid, cleaning spray and wipes, but you will need to purchase your own amenities after these run out. Please do not take the large refillable bottles provided as we’ll need to charge for replacement.
Linens: We provide a full set of linens for each bed, a hand towel, face cloth and shower towel per guest. Extra linens can be provided for a fee. Please inquire before your stay.
Checkout Time: Checkout time is at 10am.

I give my guests space but am available when needed.
Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm NZ time and we will try to respond to your messages/email as soon as possible. You will be provided with an emergency 24/7 maintenance number as well in case you need that outside of our regular office hours.
