Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Flaxmill Bay area, with every convenience close at hand. Head out the front gate and you’ll be at the beach in a couple of minutes or enjoy a lazy stroll to the Whitianga passenger ferry or jump in the car and take a short drive to Cooks Beach to grab your essentials.
Unit 2 has a separate bedroom with a queen bed, bedside tables, a dresser, and a wardrobe. The lounge has a flat-screen TV and Chromecast, a dining table and 4 chairs, 2 x single beds, and a sofa bed suitable for 1 adult or 2 small children, there is also a rollaway bed available. The Bathroom has a shower and vanity, heated towel rails as well as a washing machine and laundry tub. In the well-equipped kitchen, you’ll find hot plates, an air fryer, an electric fry pan (no oven), a fridge, freezer, and microwave as well as full kitchen utensils, or take advantage of the communal deck area and use the BBQ and enjoy an al fresco dinner while taking in the sea views. A newly installed pizza oven and louvred pergola are sure to be a hit during the summer, we ask guests to please leave the louvres open when they are finished using the area.

Flaxmill Bay is a fantastic base to visit some of the other amazing beaches the area has to offer, Hahei, Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach are all must-see places all 20 minutes away by car.

The units are a 100m walk from Front Beach, a 3-minute walk to the passenger ferry to Whitianga, and a 3-minute car ride to Cooks Beach. The area is fully fenced, and small pets are welcome. There is also parking on-site for one car per unit. Boat parking may also be available depending on availability – please enquire.
