Walk across to safe swimming beach or scuba dive off beach. Great place to bike around. Walking distance to South Bay domain. Childrens playground one house away on same side of road.
5 min drive to restaurants/pubs or walk 20 mins into Kaikoura township. Or use the Taxi service.
Walking distance to boat ramps/ Whale Watch Marina.
Relax and enjoy watching Dolphin Encounter and Whale Watch boats heading out to sea.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It is directly across the road from the beach and the views are amazing. The cottage is comfortable with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We only had contact with Gail the host via text message, but she was welcoming and happy to be contacted when needed. The cheese platter and free range eggs that were in the fridge on arrival were delicious!
