A 2-minute drive to the Omokoroa village. Fish from the jetty, swim and kayak in the harbour, or take the ferry over to Matakana Island. Local cafes, plus excellent evening dining at the Omokoroa Boat Club.. The Omokoroa Golf Club is easy walking distance. Hot pools are a little further.
Walkways are a feature of the Omokoroa Peninsula, meandering through the many reserves and along the harbour side. Excellent for walking or bike riding. Bikes available for use on peninsular only.
More challenging walks are easy driving distance - info provided. Omokoroa is 40 minutes from Waihi and the access to the Hauraki Rail Trail.
Omokoroa is a 10 min drive into Bethlehem.
