The Space:

The house is alarmed for security and comes fully furnished with linen and towels and all kitchen equipment as well as wifi, washer/dryer, air conditioning, heating and two Smart TV's. 2 kayaks and lifejackets are provided for the adventurous.

Ngongotaha is a quiet suburb of Rotorua just 8km from city centre. It has its own medical centre, pharmacy, mini supermarket, petrol station and other shops. An easy 5 min drive away are lots of takeaway shops and a large Countdown supermarket as well as the tourist attractions of the Agrodome, Zorb, Rainbow Springs, Gondola and Luge.
Getting Around:
Getting around is easy, with a bus stop located just 200 meters from the house providing direct access to the city center. Buses run every half hour, and the fare is around $2 NZD per ride, payable in cash on the bus. We also offer free parking on site and street parking if you have a car.

Summary: We ubered from the airport which was an easy process. We had to take two cars for the four of us with our luggage. The drivers are friends. We arranged for them to take us back to the airport ahead of time. So helpful. We love the lockbox system. It makes entry so convenient.We were mesmerized by the beautiful lake view, all times of the day. The unit had all we needed and the neighborhood was very beautiful and quiet. My only suggestion is to put usable seating on the balcony. Just four individual chairs would allow people to sit out and enjoy the sunrise and sunset. The existing table and benches are not very functional. Our only regret is not staying longer.
