The midcentury modern design features a cantilevered terrace, non-load bearing exterior walls, floor-to-ceiling windows, and built-in furniture. It has been beautifully maintained and tastefully restored, with original features like the stereogram, curved wooden panelling and louvered windows. The Wilson House won the 2014 NZIA Enduring Architecture award.
