With good fishing out on the lake, you’ll want to bring your boat with you on holiday. There’s plenty of room to park it on the grass, and with public reserve on two sides of the property, it certainly won’t interrupt your backyard cricket game!

Launch the boat at the marina only a short drive away, and when you come home with your fresh catch, fire up the BBQ for an alfresco feast!

At the end of the day’s adventures, everyone can retreat to their own private space. Three bedrooms comfortably sleep up to six guests, and with the toilet being separate from the shower there’s no need to queue up for the conveniences at either end of the day.

It’s just a short drive down to the lake from Motuoapa Rise where you’ll find the marina with cafes to get your espresso coffee fix. Safe swimming spots are also only about 5-10 minutes away by car. Venture further afield with a scenic drive to Taupo, and after a great day out take a dip in the hot pools at Tokaanu on the way home.
