Spacious ground floor apartment in beautiful quiet street across the road from a park and 1 minute walk to supermarket. Very large space (140m2) with two living/dining areas, 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Our guests are always pleasantly surprised how large and bright the space is!
A scenic 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive into the historic Arrowtown town centre. Centrally located for stunning biking and walking trails along the river and in the mountains.
Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed, Bedroom 2 a super luxurious Californian King Bed (our guests love this one!). Bedroom 3 has one set of bunks (single over queen) and a separate single - perfect for the kids or a group of friends.
Fully equipped kitchen and separate laundry. Continental breakfast supplies (coffee, tea, muesli, cornflakes, coffee, milk), condiments, butter, margarine and cooking oil provided.
Well appointed bathroom (renovated 2023) with hotel quality thick cotton towels. Brand new hot water cylinder installed August 2020 for shower. Cosy soft bathrobes also provided.
Free unlimited WIFI.
15-20 minutes drive from Queenstown.
Own courtyard by front door in garden setting with BBQ and table/chairs.
We are local restaurant owners and live upstairs with our three children and border terrier and are available for local advice and tips. There may be some family noise but there is good insulation between the levels as it's a solidly built house.
Highchair, portacot and baby bath available please request prior to stay. Selection of children's toys and books.
Pets are ok if they are friendly with other animals as we have a border terrier (he has his own fenced area up the back but may say hi at some point). Please note that unless they are happily crate trained, pets are to go with you if leaving the property during the day as there is no fenced outdoor area. No pets allowed on the furniture and please toilet your dog across the road in the park. Please let us know when booking if you intend on bringing your pet.
Ample onstreet parking (free). One carpark available offstreet in driveway.
All bed linen and hotel quality towels provided. We ask that the apartment is left basically clean and tidy when you leave (benches wiped, dishes done etc) but laundering of the linen and towels and a full clean will be done by professional cleaners on departure. Any extra cleaning above 2 hours will be on-charged to guests.
