A Stone's Throw is near many of the diverse attractions that make Rotorua a special and popular place to visit - and we're right by the infamous Redwoods in the Whakarewarewa Forest - the perfect spot for MTB and forest enthusiasts. Just one road over from the popular Redwoods Treewalk! Less than five minutes drive away and you could be visiting Te Puia for the thermal and geysers as well as Maori culture, art and craft. Or you could be boarding a float plane at the main lake front to enjoy a scenic aerial view of our sixteen lakes and stunning landscape. Perhaps, after a visit to our government gardens, you could be enjoying a soak in the internationally renowned Polynesian Spa or the Wai Ariki Hot Springs and Spa opened in 2023 - lovely!
While we're right by the Redwoods and the Treewalk, it's just a short drive to the Waipa Bike Park for those wanting entry into the Waipa end of the Forest.
Just up and over the hill and you're into our popular lakes district - Lake Okareka, Lake Tarawera and the Blue and Green Lakes - for lake cruises, natural hot springs, trout fishing, horse riding, nature walks, historic sites and more!

Special conditions:
The deck has no railing but is less than 50cm high. The holiday home is the rear house on the property and we ask that vehicles are not parked across the shared driveway - we have off-street parking for two vehicles including the good internal garage.
While a cleaning fee is included in our charge, we ask that the property be left in a reasonable condition prior to departure. Arrival from 2pm with prior notice of approximate time. Departure time, 11am.
