This area is often referred to as Mountain Bike Heaven.......you are but a stones throw to the Redwood Forest and world class MTB trails.
Catering for families, friends and corporate groups, this property is situated in a sought after, safe and secure residential area. This single level house is not only beautifully presented but is super functional providing what we hope to be almost everything you would need and more.
Fully fenced this property is ideal for young children, close to everything that Rotorua has to see and do and laid out so that even if you feel like a day in everyone can have their own space.
With two generous sized decks, an outdoor dining/BBQ area, open plan lounge/dining/kitchen and a games room at the other end of the house, even larger groups will be able to enjoy a bit of "me" time if they need to.
The more active guests will likely end up in the games room honing their table tennis, darts, and Xbox skills or watching Cable TV while the rest of your group will be enjoying each other's company at the other end of the house in the lounge/dining area.
There is a second toilet off the games room which is also perfectly placed for those utilising the queen and single rooms off the games room.
Linen (Bedsheets, pillowcases, and towels) are mandatory at this property at the additional cost of $35 per person.

Summary: The house was clean and tidy with nice indoor and outdoor spaces. The host had not given us the lock box code, I had seen an email from bookabatch headed “Here are the keys to your stay” so I had assumed the code was on this email somewhere. We rang Norman to get the code, he was quite short on the phone but gave us the code. When we made it in the HRV was turned up as high as it could go, the house was 29degrees inside, couldn’t keep the doors and windows open due to mosquitoes, sleeping on the first night was not the best due to the heat. We had to move one of single beds in the front room into the garage as the street light was shining in and the timber blinds were letting the light in, block out curtains would be better in there. Norman the host was difficult to deal with throughout the booking process - he doesn't like changes to bookings and was one up from passive aggressive in some of his responses. Yes our numbers dropped from 6 to 5 as one of the guys had to pull out (no refund has come through) and yes we asked about possibly postponing due the weather forecast looking like we weren’t going to be able to mountain bike which was our reason for coming. I wouldn’t book through Norman again if I could help it. Could do with upgrading the darts for the dart board and the table tennis bats - both in such bad shape not worth using. We did have great weekend otherwise, usually come up twice a year for the mountain biking but will likely avoid this house due to the host.
