By car, Rotorua Airport is only about 4 minutes away, the Redwoods around 9 and Te Puia about 10, with the Waiariki and Polynesian spas roughly 12 and Skyline, ZORB and Canopy Tours about 21. Central Rotorua is a short drive around the lake.
