The Hannah's Bay boat ramp and reserve are a short stroll away - great for launching a boat or a lakeside walk - and you're wonderfully handy to the rest of Rotorua: the airport is just three minutes away, the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest about twelve, Te Puia fourteen, and the lakefront, the hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa and central Rotorua around fifteen. Skyline's gondola and luge, Zorb and Canopy Tours are over on the western side of town, around twenty-five minutes away.

A car is handy, with ample on-site parking. Rotorua Airport is just three minutes away - about the easiest arrival in town - with the Redwoods forest around twelve minutes, Te Puia fourteen, and central Rotorua, the lakefront and the hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa about fifteen.
