The well utilised walking track along the coast to Whananaki starts here for those wanting peaceful exercise.
A short drive will take you to Whale Bay and Matapouri and just a few more kilometers sees you at Tutukaka, the base for all diving and fishing tours heading out to the world famous Poor Knights Islands. You will also find a variety of cafes and eateries at Tutukaka and Ngunguru.
