Escape the city with this very popular kiwi cottage. The house has 2 double bedrooms and a 3rd double bedroom in a sleep out adjoining the main house. A modern fully equipped kitchen gives the option to cook. This sun drenched house has decks on both sides, private north facing outdoor living at the back with the front deck flowing from the lounge with relaxing sea views. The house is close to everything, 100m from a bus stop so easy to get to and from the ferry and walking distance to shops, cafes, and beaches.

Great WIFI, comfortable beds, fireplace for winter and a lovely western sea view providing the perfect spot for end of the drinks while watching the sun go down.

Other things to note: One of the Queen Bedrooms is a separate sleep out. It is only metres from the backdoor for the house, but it is separate. The shower is over the bath so a bit of a step up and over - those with mobility issues should be aware.

Summary: Great location on waiheke , we took our car thankfully but easily accessible to buses. Cute Bach that our family enjoyed for 5 days even during a cyclone with constant rain. Our mini daschund had the best time out the back in the garden which is fully secure. Surfdale is a lovely beach and we went for plenty of walks there but preferred to swim (yes in the rain) at other beaches such as Oneroa/little Oneroa. The Bach has an amazing view so if we had better weather we would have been able to use the outdoor spaces more. More of a general comment on waiheke - check the weather first ! If you are not into vineyards there is not much else to do in the rain :) but relating to the property itself we could not fault it at all. Hosts were lovely, would recommend.
