Positive: The location was fantastic . The fireplaces were a great asset & plenty of firewood. The kitchen is very well appointed and equipped.

Negative: Spiders +++++ particularly in the downstairs bedroom . ? White tail spider. The room had spider webs all over the bedside tables and the bed had many webs underneath.. the Guest that slept in this room had a definite spider bite on her leg which caused her pain & distress. The room had to be sprayed with insect killer . There are many blown light bulbs throughout the downstairs area and the entry foyer was in almost complete darkness. The front door needs to be attended to as it is difficult to close and open . The property is in need of some basic maintenance. A bit disappointing from this aspect that a property at this price point had these issues. A guest compendium would be an asset .
