Summary: The host was very nice and helpful. The fresh eggs were a nice touch thanks Jerry. The rooms were all clean and tidy, and the beds were super comfy. both the kitchen and laundry were adequate. Shirley suffers from the cold and we found it a little bit difficult to keep her warm. Mark you, the weather didn't help at all as it was raining and cold for the first 5 days. On the down side, the patio, and path could do with a good waterblasting, not just to clean it up but to stop it from being so slippery in the wet. The car park area could do with a bit of TLC to make the bush view nicer. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to have a peaceful stay without road noise or close neighbours. And it was only about 20 mins to central Rotorua to take advantage of all the superb eateries. We would be happy to return in the summer when the weather is nicer.
