It's a peaceful, established neighbourhood right by the lake, yet handy to Rotorua's adventures: Skyline's gondola and luge, Zorb and Canopy Tours are just eight minutes away, the lakefront, the hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa and central Rotorua about eleven, and Te Puia's geysers around thirteen. The Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest is about sixteen minutes, and Rotorua Airport twenty. With the lake close by, it's a great spot to bring the kayak or paddle board.
Getting Around:
A car is handy here, with on-street parking on the road outside. Skyline, Zorb and Canopy Tours are about eight minutes away, and central Rotorua, the lakefront and the hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa around eleven, with Te Puia thirteen. The Redwoods forest is about sixteen minutes and Rotorua Airport twenty. Uber, taxis and buses are available nearby.
