Birchwood is a luxury four bedroom lodge type accommodation. Situated in the hills a short walk to the village of Havelock North on the North Islands fabulous Hawkes Bay. There are around 24 top wineries within a short drive producing some of the best New Zealand white wines. Hawkes Bay is world renown for its fine Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc wines.
Surrounded by 1 ha of landscaped gardens Birchwood has a huge array of fruit trees and when in season can be sampled almost year round by guests. Guests are encouraged to stroll through the gardens along a series of well maintained pathways . The climate is mild Mediterranean.
Inside the kitchen is a foodie delight with a modern induction stove. With large bi fold doors opening onto the deck guests can dine outdoors at the large alfresco dinning setting and enjoy the great weather. We also provide a BBQ and electric fry pan.
The lounge has a large flat screen smart TV WFI is also available. A blue tooth stereo system with built in speakers provide the correct atmosphere for an enjoyable experience at Birchwood.
The main bedroom has a king bed and ensuite from which there are stunning views overlooking the village.
Bedroom 2 ,has a queen bed ,is downstairs and also has an ensuite with a private court yard through large doors.
Bedroom 3 & 4 have queen beds and share the main bathroom and separate toilet.
Birchwood has central heating throughout.
Although there is a fire indoors and out we do not provide wood and do recommend there use.
