The kitchen is self-contained and fully equipped with full size fridge, oven and microwave (no dishwasher).

Whiritoa beach is a small, relaxed beach community between Whangamata and Waihi. It has a general store providing takeaway food, a small selection of groceries, coffee, ice creams and drinks.
The area has beautiful beach walks. One end has a lagoon that can be crossed at low tide for a scenic bush walk to Waimama Bay. The views along the way are stunning. The Bay is uncrowded and relaxing, with Pohutukawa trees lining the beach front for shade and perhaps a picnic. The other end of the beach offers a walking track with rewarding views at the end.
A small walk from the property has a family park, with BBQ facilities, a playground and stunning views out across the gulf.
The beach can be tranquil or wild. Care should be taken when swimming as there can be big waves and a strong undertow. Enjoy bush walks, fishing or golfing, it’s all just a walk or short drive away.
