Positive: Stunning views , beautiful location. Surf club & kids playground directly accross the road with beach access. House sleeps 10 people on 2X queen beds & 3X sets of bunk beds. 2 bathrooms rooms , both with a toilet , vanity & shower. The inside of the property had everything we needed. Kitchen was well set up. Ample crockery & cutlery. Plenty of seating inside & out & bedding. 1X heatpump (we didn't use) in the kitchen living area & plug in oil heaters for the bedrooms. Hot & cold outside shower for after beach washes

Negative: Advertised property address of number " 38 " is for the neighbouring property. Surfside Sanctuary - Whiritoa Holiday Home , is probably better listed as number " 40 " There is no street number or house name on the front gate or fence. There are no power sockets in either bathroom for hairdryers / shavers etc. Beds were soft to sleep on. Plenty of resident spiders & their webs in corners... Curtains were a bit shabby , liners ripped & shower curtain mouldy. Luke warm & low water pressure for the first 24 hours , with no hot water by the evening of night 2. Leaving showers cold & no hot water for dishes. We called batch care who were great to deal with & had the property manger onsite within 1 hour. Property manager turned on hot water cylinder , which is located in the locked garage. Next morning , finally able to have a hot shower. Water pressure was then great. Garage - locked , no access
