Set just 4 km off state highway 1 up in the hills, this quiet unique free-standing cottage is the perfect get-away. Ruakaka beach is 6-7 minutes' drive and Whangarei is 25 minutes to the North and Waipu just 15 minutes' drive away, you have so much to do. Have a wander through the large garden area out front.
There is one bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, Air Fryer, Rice cooker and hot plate, with pot and pans for cooking. I also have some cooking basics also, Rice, Flour, Oats, Cooking oil etc,If you are staying for 3 days or more there is a washing machine / drier available (please ask if you require this).
There is wi-fi available and excellent Cell phone coverage also.
Feel free to wander around the property and take a walk along the (hardly any traffic) road, there are beautiful views everywhere, and it's worth a visit to Wilsons Dam, which supplies Whangarei with water.
I have two Sea Kayaks and life jackets available to use, but you will need a way to transport them or ask me and if I am around, I can help with this.

Summary: I loved the quiet and calm atmosphere. The view was fantastic, and the batch had all the basics for a comfortable stay. It’s close to interesting towns and not far from the beach. Mark was considerate and easy to communicate with. Thank you I had a lovely, relaxing time at a good price. Highly recommend.
